Well he had a spoiled overrated daddy's boy for his quarterback that refused to throw less than 3 picks per big game, then he got a dedicated loose all around good leader who refused to let his team lose
Mack calls alot of plays you know. His schemes were right on in the Rose Bowl...slip up here and there, but he is a good coach.
Barnes, I think, has trouble getting his squad behind him. His schemes and coaching are good enough, he just needs to yell more at Gibson and LaMarcus

2007 will be BARNES last year at UT.
If he goes for greener pastures where he gets more respect and the fans don't about success.
There is no reason for UT to be considered a basketball powerhouse (from a traditional perspective), but Barnes has made them a year-in, year-out contender... so I'd say he deserves credit for that.
