Was anyone watching the car chase on WOAI?

I had just gotten home and turned on the news to watch sports and they cut in with the car chase. WOAI's helicopter caught the whole thing, including the guy pulling away from the cops, parking at the Countryside Apartments and calmly walking away. He didn't realize that the copter was watching his every move. They haven't caught him yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Those apartments are off of 281, at Bitter and Heimer. They said that police copters weren't running today, don't know why, so it was extremely helpful for WOAI's traffic copter to have followed the chase to the end.

My mother in law use to live over there in Desert Shadows. That is a bad area. There was a shooting in that place one time too.
