Teen Using Bathroom Falls Out Bus Window

ALBANY, N.Y. -- A New York City teenager who was with a group lobbying at the Capitol Tuesday fell out the window of his chartered bus on the Thruway.
State police said 17-year-old Jose Gonzales was using the bathroom on the bus when the vehicle swerved to change lanes. The boy lost his balance and fell through the window onto the shoulder of the road. He was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Police said he'll be OK.
It was unclear how fast the bus was going at the time. Investigators are looking at the window to see if it malfunctioned.
