But will he remain free now that Horry is back? This guy needs as many minutes if not more than Nazr and Rasho.

Is the shot clock in New Zealand like 8 seconds long or something?

Marks is extremely smart and competent on O, but is tissue paper on D. He can't guard anyone, but I agree that he should take some of Nazr's minutes, since he can't either.

I wouldn't give him eithers minutes, until he proves it against a good team, and not the craptors

What? He plays very good Defense, although not as good as Rasho. He's better than any other bigman they have. And for all the credit Nazr gets on the boards, he's not as good as Marks in that category.

Marks just needs to stay healthy.

Anyone who can handle the ball (Bosh) can work him. Anyone with a big body can post him up. He doesn't block shots. He is, however, usually in the right place, unlike Nazr.

    Marks is playing very good.

Too bad he has no lateral quickness on defense

Well, any big that can handle the ball is going to work any of our bigs. He DOES block shots, though.

Marks does defend and he does redbound. If you want him to be David Robinson off the bench, then he won't play. But against the options we have he looks damn good.

Rasho, the stationary mountain, did a better job on Bosh.

Rasho is the man on defense. I'm all for giving Marks Nazr's minutes though.

Bowen did the best job on Bosh. I admit he couldn't have done it all game, but Bowen guarded Bosh the whole overtime and fronted him. Bosh didn't even touch the ball the whole OT.

Great game by Marks though. I don't mind him on the court at all.

True that Bowen did a great job in the OT- but also important was the fact that the entire fourth quarter, Bosh only had 2 baskets and NO rebounds with Rasho guarding him and playing the full 12 minutes. After the first half Bosh had, Pop switched Rasho onto him the second half.

Marks was key to winning the game
Marks was the reason they had a 10 point lead at the half.

Rasho and Finley were the reasons they won.

Nesterovic's rebounding and baskets in the 4th are the reason they even had a chance at winning.
