I just checked the Dallas schedule, and they are in the middle of playing 11 of 14 at home, and including tonight, will play 7 of 8 at home, including a 6-game home stand bridging the All-Star Break.

The Spurs could be down by as many as 2 or even 3 games going into the March 2 game.

    Wow.

Yeah but the Mavs March schedule is not easy by any means... we'll pass them by the end of it.

I believe the Spurs have a similiar stretch (7 of their last 10 at home in April) to end their season, so I'd say advantage Spurs--at the end.

Sucks that the Spurs and Mavs are going to have to play eachother in the 2nd round instead of the WCF

Spurs "caught" the Mavs in game 81 in 2003. Better late than never...

Dallas is too deep to lose to any crappy team. If some players aren't performing they got a ton of bench players that make up for it. The only team that goes 12 men deep.

Looks like they are. Only problem is, Mavs Blogs are usually uninhabited by Mid May! Expect 2006 to be no different.

The mavs love to hear criticism like they can't stop Kobe. Keep bringing it.

They love it because it inspires them to prove people wrong. Whatever Barkley says they can't do they seem to concentrate the most on. For example Barkley says they don't help each other on defense than all of a sudden there is a ton of help defense. Even Van Horn was helping out which made me laugh.

The pistons rely on their starters too much. Dallas doesn't have to so there is less likely case of getting upsetted. Sure it happens but having a great bench makes it less likely to happen.

You know the Spurs totally fly under the radar for a while. They let someone else take the spotlight for a while (like the Mavs) and then steal it at the end. That's what they're doing right now. And, I don't care.

Havent the Spurs won like 9/10 or some junk? If that is flying under the radar then I am with you on being totally for it!
