His announcing is getting unbearable. He has the most annoying voice on earth and says the dumbest things. Thank God he isn't commentating the Pistons game today....

He's the king of hyperbole.
It depends how much weed is in his system for waltons performances.
I usually don't mind Walton and I recognize hyperbole is part of his charm, modus operandi. That said, today he seems to be more verbose than ever.
Walton has turned into a caricature of himself. It's sad because he's extremely smart and extremely knowledgable about the game. He just insists on saying stupid to get attention.
Today he's referred to Jeff Foster as both "Greg Foster" and "Scott Foster."
Walton has taken the schtick a bit too far, but he is what he is.
Walton can be annoying, but he's pretty funny sometimes and he's the color guy... so he's supposed to have an even balance of annoying and enlightening

I muted the TV too today--I don't mind Walton but Jim Gray is like nails on the blackboard. The real problem is that they get off on other topics and stop paying attention to the game, which annoys me.
That said, I'd say that listening to this team of losers is not much below listening to Stockton and Terry Porter calling a game. Oy--I know Stockton used to be the but now he's just this side of senile.
God Foodie, I think Id rather listen to Durham and Frick and Frack do the game than those two.
Porter and Stockton are atrocious.
Walton?....today?.... I had this chip installed last week that inhibits my brain from hearing and seeing that guy, so I wouldn't of even know he was there.

I just get a little annoyed at the Walton/Snapper back and forth jibs at each other. Stay with the game.
I still remember last year in the playoffs when Ginobili went off on Detroit in either game or game 2 (He went off in every win, but I was at one of them). I ran out of the arena trying to beat traffic (I live an hour away) and Bill Walton passed by me and I stuck up my hand and went, "Manu Ginobili BABY!" and he slapped my hand and started laughing.
They are worse than an old married couple.
I like the Walton and Snapper combo. I'm glad they are back together.
