On the 7:30 segment on the ticket bob ryan of the globe went on some sort of anti-Duncan tirade. What I could not understand is the reason why? He talked and talked but never gave a reason why he considered Duncan a disgrace. He mentioned something about Duncan being quiet while Iverson gave some sort of monumental speech after the Argentina loss. He also alluded to Duncan being unworthy due to "allowing" Carmelo Anthony to come out shirtless and with a do-rag. At this point this buffoon was so totally beyond any sense I stopped trying to figure out what he was smoking.
If anyone heard it and can actually figure out what this brain-dead hack was saying, please add your interpretation.
1. Consider the source. He's not known for making uncontroversial statements.
2. Pitino's angst about losing out on Duncan in the '97 draft must have rubbed off on Ryan.
3. To with the bas . Duncan represented the US along with Iverson and Anthony instead of taking it easy at home.
