I remember when I used to just read the threads and all here for about a year before I started posting, and I remember during the Finals last year someone here quit on us and I cant remember who. But something was said like "This team has no chance I quit" or some garbage like that, just wondering if anyone remembers who, and tell me if they still post here, I hope they dont, because they shouldve been banned for that.

Yeah, but that was not during the finals. Sequ quit after the 1st game of the playoffs.

This is no fluke, Denver is a better team than San Antonio since Duncan is barely 50%. Without Tim, this team has no chance.

Tim should rest and blow off this year. Save the embarassment, at least POP will have a reason.

Fastest off the wagon was Sequ: took him 1 playoff loss. Walton scooted when we were tied 2-2 with Seattle. TPark quit when the Spurs were being manhandled in Detroit.

Although TPark stuck around the longest of these three, he gets (and deserves) the most flak for being a total, unashamed drama queen while jumping ship. There was this thread with TPark proclaiming that he was a man of his word, and that he would stay away for one year if the Spurs lost (http://spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18939).

But the best was yet to come. After the Spurs won the 'ship, TPark compounded this folly by doing a complete volte-face on the promise to stay away with a series of "HA HA you all" posts. (http://spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20020). In the process, he cemented his place as the biggest bandwagoning nutless bag in Spurstalk history.

Well that's the story in a nuts . It sure provided some entertainment for a while, spinning of a fair share of threads with TPark as the theme(e.g. http://spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20371). Since then, the word "T Park" has been added to the forum lexicon, signifying a gutless, fair-weather fan.
