I have voted for R, D, and I in my life
How many people here have voted for people from both parties in their life? I have voted for candidates from both the left and right in elections of all sorts.
Am I the only one? Not trying to start a politcal debate, just curious to see.
I have voted for R, D, and I in my life
So there are at least 2 people in this forum who are not blindly following the liberal or conservative view point.
I voted for gettin' a court order to do wiretaps before I voted against it.
I'm George W Bush and I approve this message![]()
No you're a bag with moronic anti conservative rhetoric, and you have a lot of free time on your hands, you sad .
Hey gay boy, it's my business if I want to be for somethin' before I'm against it.
I have never voted straight party in my life.
I believe in ideas, not ideologies.
Am I the only one who thinks the George W Bush alias might be funnier if it was used more sparingly?
It would definitely be funnier if it didn't get confused and start parroting John Effing Kerry quotes.

I've voted all parties and even written in a few names.
If Joe Lieberman were running for Senate in Texas, he'd have my vote over Kay Baily Hutchinson.
I voted for candidates from more than one party during the last election.
My question is, if someone has voted straight party, does that mean they are mindless? I mean the person could just believe what those people say. It's very hard to quantify who has an open mind and who doesn't.
Also, it depends on where you live and how often you have voted. For instance, I live in a very conservative community as a registered Democrat. The first election I was eligable to vote came in the 2002 Gubernatorial race in Michigan. I voted for Democratic candidate Jennifer Granholm. I absentee-balloted for John Kerry in November of 2004 so I could work on his campaign from 8AM until 9PM. In order to vote in the last City Council election this past summer, I had no choice but to pick a Republican because there were no Democratic challengers.
So I could answer "yes," I have voted for a Republican, but how do you know I wanted to? How do you know I wasn't just picking names out of a hat?
I like the spirit of this question, but there's no way to tell who's just buying rhetoric, and who's thinking about the issues.

^^prepare my votes before I get to the booth.....hmmm You must vote
for the dimms, but how many times.Just kidding, really know what
you mean, but couldn't pass up a chance to rib you a little. Although,
when they put all the amendments on the ballot, sometimes it pays to
have everything written down so you don't have to read them all over
again.
Between two candidates that I know nothing about, I vote for the minority candidate over the non-minority candidate every time, regardless of party affiliation.
I have always voted for the person I felt was most qualified regardless of party affiliation.
Darrin...I don't think anyone is mindless if they choose to vote straight party. That is your right, its just not the choice for me personally.
Why? Are you a racist?
I've never voted a straight party ticket
When in doubt about which one to vote for, I vote against the in bent and anything that means higher taxes
I don't vote straight party line ticket but if there is a doubt I admit I go democrat.
I'd vote for John McCain for president as well as others.
Thank God for term limits.![]()
I can't be a racist, I am a minority.
sorry,
We meant sexist...jk
Being a minority doesnt sheild you from racism.
