Jake Shimabukuro for me![]()
Anyone else into this dude? I scored his album in July and haven't been able to quit listening since then. The way he combines Reggae with his Jewish beliefs is pretty amazing. He will be in Austin in March and I'm looking forward to it. This is some good .

I think hes awesome, and I think its awesome what he does.
I just can't understand a damn word he says lol.
A family friend who is jewish, his kids love the guy, think hes like hotter than hot (they are obviously little girls.
Hes happy they like him, rather than like a 50 cent or whatever.
His music is full of positivity and that's what I dig about him. I'm tired of hearing nothing but bull in music. That's why I listen to nothing but reggae now.
His name is just Matisyahu? I might check him out
Yeah, it's really some good . Go to matismusic.com and check out his video for "King without a Crown." It's a kind of crappy video, but the tune is badass.
Pretty good stuff

His live album is a lot better than the studio album. His energy is badass and he can beatbox like a mother er. I'm really stoked for this show.
I can beatbox pretty good
Some of my friends called me the "Beatbox King" in HS![]()
I might buy the album, I like to have different music
I just listened to his 7. Beat Box (live) on that site..... yeah I can do all that stuff he did.
It's badass when one can hum a tune while beatboxing. I've tried the and it just doesn't work for me. I'm not musical or rhythmic in any way.
Yeah, it is pretty cool. I have been singing for a long time and I also write songs some.
I was telling my friend, I should go record an album. This one guy from my old school, my best friend's step-cousin. He made a country album that has sold over 3,000 in "major music stores". Atleast that is what the local newspaper said and I can probably sing as good if not better than him![]()
his studio album is out already?, I just have the Live at Stubbs on loop.
Damn the more I listen to the music, the more I like it. Good![]()
Not yet. This is what it says from the site midget posted.

I'm pretty excited about the new album. Sirius played a live broadcast of one of his shows right after the Super Bowl but I was too drunk and completely forgot about it. I was hoping they would replay it but no dice.
i hate the fact that MTV picked up on his talent and he'll end up being mainstream in no time.
why is it bad that he will be mainstream!?!
All music quality goes downhill once musicians hit the mainstream. I don't think he will get too large. Teens will continue to listen to their bubblegum punk rock and rap first and foremost.
because then he'll make his music to get airplay to make more money and not just for the love of the music.
and then his songs will come out on candy and car commercials....![]()
Probably BEATING A DIFFERENT BOX...
