I hate excuses.
You should thank the Referees...that is all....
that was like winning a championship.
Of course, the missed free throws by Ginobili and Finley down the stretch of the 4th had nothing to do with the outcome. Neither did Finley's total failure to box out on Philly's last possession of regulation. Nor did the Spurs offensive inep ude for the first 3 minutes of OT. None of that made any difference in this game.
Mike Holmgren posts here???!!!You should thank the Referees...that is all....
it was the mother ing freethrows down the stretch... LIKE IT ALWAYS IS
22 Assists............22 Turnovers.
We also shot more from the line tonight than they did.
I agree that this game was officiated horribly, yet if we could hit 4 more freethrows the composition of the game changes and we win. Period. 50/50.
Our execution in the 4th qtr and in OT was terrible...
Tim played the game, he was pissed about the MISSED and 1.
That's the one that irks me, all that other stuff...self-induced pain.
The Officials did not win this game, they may have kept it close, BUT the SPURS failed to close out Philly -- they had their chances!
This wasn't a Super Bowl like up.
But it was a typical horrible reffed NBA gamed.
Don't know why this suprises anyone.
Huge Wussy Excuse Thread...no Value
I lost vBookie.
that is all.
ah .. the Spurs won a few close games lately, the law of averages.
Weak ass thread.
piss poor d in the 4th and ot will do it every time
My Wife and her geeky cohort call it "Regression to the Mean". Frigging big brain buckets!!!!!
that seems to be the excuse for this forum as well...where the is your back bone???
kick me out for speaking out against the establishment just like the ing republicans...i would expect it
Can't say he didn't ask for it...

Can't say it's the refs fault when the Spurs committed so many turnovers and missed several free throws in crunch time....
Nevertheless, I was enfuriated with the ref's mess!!! Where was Timmy's and 1 on his dunk?? Where was Manu's and 1 on his amazing high-archer?? Those two phantom calls on Manu caused Pop to go with funky rotations in the last minutes of the game and during overtime... I believe a ref should be upstairs watching the game with the benefit of TV replays... he would then be able to advise the head referree via an earpiece.
