Well, here we are at 8 am on friday morning. We got in last night around 9 pm Denver time, and it was a good ol' 7 degrees. We made a point to check the San Antonio Temp when we got on the plane, and it was a nice 83 degrees. Mandy and I have taken some super sweet pictures of the snow fall that we got over night, and will post them for you guys later on.
Man, its ing cold.

Have a fun trip!
I love Colorado. Denver is a nice city. I like the way everything is all close together downtown there.
Have a safe trip
Have Fun

Have a wonderful time in Colorado! Ignore the bitter comment from Batman.

Try the food at the one place on 16th Street where they brew their own beer. Its on a corner, but don't remember the name. Oh yeah. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever tasted was at some Mexican place on Federal.

Sorry Batman![]()

Be sure to make the trip up to Fort Collins.
Since it is so cold up there, I am assuming you two will have to take steps to keep warm. So, a word of advice: if those things include making a Patrick and Becky video, make sure you put it in your carry-on luggage!
Oh, and have a good time.
You're probably thinking of the RockBottom Brewery. Other places you might be thinking of are the Wynkoop Brewery or Denver Chop House.
RockBottom is good pub type food and they've got great beer there. I've been there about 6 or 7 times when I've been in Denver but the last time I was there, our food took forever to come out and was ice cold (what a surprise). All the other experiences where enjoyable though.
Wynkoop is good food, great place to hang out (pool tables, friendly people and comedy on certain nights) and beer heaven if you're a beer drinker.
Denver Chop House is a great steakhouse and good place for a special meal. Lunch is best because it's fairly easy on the pocketbook and they've got great atmosphere.
Both of these places are near Coor Field near the end of the 16th Street shuttle (which is free).
If you're staying in the downtown area and just need to calm a very late night hunger, there's a good pizza place called Two Fisted Marios.
Should take a trip to the New Belgium Brewery in Boulder. Bring me back some Fat Tire!!
bring me back a snowball!!
wha...im gonna make a raspa!
I don't know why, but somehow I knew you were going to say that.![]()
Haven't you heard of La Paletera![]()
You mean Fort Collins.
You tell em, Peter!![]()
You two have fun.
And don't eat yellow snow.
Yeah. Rock Bottom is the name. Pretty good food and very nice atmosphere. Take time to go to Colorado Springs to see the Seven Falls or something like that. Its unbelievable.
A heat wave has just hit, it's now a warm 18 degrees outside
We just got back from lunch...at Chili's. I know i know, they are all over San Antonio, but I was craving some chicken enchilada soup badly. Apparently I picked the worst day ever to go to this Chili's. Our waitress was horrendous. After waiting 10 minutes after sitting down she comes and takes our drink orders and food orders. Little did we know that would be one of the few times we see or hear from her for the duration of our meal.
After waiting almost 30 minutes for our food to come, which isn't even brought out by our waitress, I notice that the specifications i ordered on my food weren't followed. Granted it's just lettuce and tomatoes on my sandwich that i didn't want...and I did scrape them off...it's just the principle of the matter that fustrated me. Also we had to ASK for silverware...guess the stupid waitress just expected us to eat with our hands.
So we get our food and Matthew has been out of a drink before our food even came and still the waitress ignores us. Everyone around our table is getting what looks like to be a great customer service but here we are with no refills, no silveware, no napkins, wrong food orders....it's just sucking ass at this point. Finally the waitress is at the table right next to us, she's about to walk off and we sternly ask "ma'am" so she turns around with a blank look, and Matthew asks for another coke and she responds "yeah" and just walks off. Rude to say the least.
You would think she would bring back the coke within reasonable amount of time, but no...about 7 minutes later some guy brings the soda. It's just like what the ...you can't even bring us our soda you have to get someone else to do it? You're taking your time serving everyone else in the area but you're singling us out and ignoring us?
Finally the place starts to clear out...at least around us it does. She walks on over and she's like "how's everything, it's just been one of those days, yell at me if you need anything." Uhh yeah we needed you like an hour ago when we didn't have drinks or silverware. So she takes off again and someone comes to clear our table and then the waitress drops off the check. Matthew's brother was kind enough to pay for lunch...he gave her no tip and wrote a nice "horrible customer service" at the bottom of the reciept. That made me feel just a bit better.
Anywho...just had to get that off my chest. Tonight we are playing in a poker tournament and then tomorrow it's off to the mountains to play in the snow and sight see. What's really wierd is that on the weather they said that it's warmer in the mountains than it is down here in the city right now.
And i was stupid and left the camera usb cable at home so that's why there are no pictures yet. My bad.
