It's funny you should say that, cause I thought Kobe and Duncan were the only ones on the west who looked like they knew what they were doing when they ran the pick and roll. I would figure most Spurs fans wouldn't do it, but you have to admit it is a little tempting. Maybe the Lakers throw in a draft pick or Andrew Bynum (for the future) to sweeten the deal? Spurs fans would have to sit and think about that one.

I don't know why people are shocked about Kobe's praise of Bowen. Despite their rivalry from back in the day, I don't think I've ever heard Kobe talk smack about the Spurs. He's said in the past that his fav player to watch is Ginobili, that Pop is a great coach, and I remember when asked about Bowen's playing "dirty" before, he had defended Bruce and said that he's just a great defender and that it's always a challenge for him when he knows he plays the SPurs to go against Bruce.
VC, Ray Allen, etc should take note.
