Yeah, it was one the local news last night, pretty funny. The local NBC affiliate is a 'proud' sponsor. I wonder how many people would actually give up their glock for a chance to see them play?
I can't find a direct link, but today the EN reported the 76ers and Phili police have begun a "guns for tickets program where anyone can bring a working gun into a police station and receive a voucher for two tickets, no questions asked."
While I think this is a good idea, it's kinda funny they resorted to it. I wonder what they will do with Iverson.....

Does that include players too?![]()
Glocks are expensive. That's like at least a $500 pair of tickets to watch a crappy team play.
Of course, no one buys their guns in the inner city.
That's because our already high crime rate has gotten even higher in 2006 with about 6-10 more shooting deaths than we had last year at this point.
Personally it's a stupid idea. I mean honestly, who's going to do it?
