God damn. Can an 11 year old even get a boner? I know I didn't get one until I was like 13.
LAURENS, S.C. - A former fifth-grade teacher accused of having sex with her 11-year-old student was ordered held on $100,000 bond Saturday.
Prosecutors had wanted Wendie A. Schweikert, 36, jailed without bond, saying she was a danger to the community and a flight risk.
Schweikert was arrested Friday on two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor after the boy's mother accused the teacher of having sex with him at school at least twice, authorities said.
Schweikert, who resigned from her job at E.B. Morse Elementary School on Friday, did not speak during the hearing, and did not have an attorney. The boy's mother tried to tell the judge how shaken her son was, but was choked back by tears.
The boy "wanted his mother to tell the court he was scared," prosecutor Jerry Peace said. "He is terrified that the defendant will get out on bond."
Laurens is in northwestern South Carolina.

Hindsight is 20/20. The guilt of letting this out, and not ridding it for all it's worth (pun intended), will turn him gay some day.

I got hit on (often) by a 36 year old female neighbor when I was 14.
Even though she was an attractive woman I was scared of her and avoided her like the plague. When you're a kid a woman that old seems OLD!
Interestingly enough I dated a 35 year-old college classmate of mine for a little while when I was 19. In 5 years your perspective changes. . . a lot.

I don't usually even note these kind of things when the kid is 14-15. But 11? Lock her up.
If this is a growning trend, which it is starting to look like, I wish I was born about 10 years later. My generation's children are going to LOVE school.

Damn, that is nasty if it is true. Although the article didn't give much specifics....I'd like to give the woman a benefit of the doubt. I don't want to believe that someone would be sick enough to do that to their 11 year old student.
