but Arkansas will more than likely be a 9 seed at worse unless they do well in the SEC Tourny in which they will be a 3-6 depending on if they win it all. we have beaten the sec's "best 2 teams" not counting LSU because my god we had them beat, remember that thread about putting in a freshman with seconds left just to brick free throws to put them away? if we had beaten them we'd be a locked 6 seed right now.
anyways. i would love to see a texas/arkansas matchup. knowing texas will be a 1 or 2 seed its a fine chance arkansas gets matched in the same region considering the animosity that surrounds the schools playing eachother and the ratings would be through the roof.
I would not count the Pigs out of the SEC Championship possibility. They are the peaking team in the SEC and have been for the past 3 weeks. I think KU wins the Big XII Tournament, though t.u. has the better team.
In March, too many play NOT to lose rather THAN to win.

Yeah we are peaking at the best time. A first round exit would crush us though in the SEC tourny.
What has me the most exited... we are only losing Modica and Fergeson, and Dontell Jefferson after this year. Modica was great, we will miss him but Fergy and Dontell aren't anything but average. We have the current #22 recruiting class coming in with only 3 guys.. and the word around the SEC is how underrated it really is. PF Michael Washington is a 5 star stud prepping in Mississippi. He turned down Texas, Florida, UConn, Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, UNC and Oklahoma. JUCO stud SF Sonny Weems is another 5 star and a major grab. Both of them are projected starters. On that list is 4 star G Stefan Welsh from Virginia who is a versitile leaper from Virginia coming to our already studly backcourt. Those are the only ones who signed a LOI as of now.
Our bigs will be juniors next year, in Darian Townes, 7' shot defensive god Steven Hill, Charles Thomas and Steven Hunter. And SEC Player of the year (almost locked) Ronnie Brewer is coming back. I know for a fact with the class coming in, our star guard Brewer and our badass frontcourt we will be in the top 20 preseason next year.
Arkansas hasn't been this exciting for next year in football and basketball in many many years.
I agree, you guys are going to be a force in the future of the SEC. I am excited about Acie and Joseph Jones playing next year here in Aggieland. Yeah, I am a HUSKER, but we never recruit for roundball. We will be in the NIT annually. I think the last time we got the the dance was when we had Tyronn Lue running point and Venson Hamilton in 98. Guess who Beat us in BOISE that year?

Last night on Gamenight they said we still had work to do, and listed our loss AT Oklahoma State as a bad loss.
Yet for UAB, who they tagged as a lock, they talked about UAB's HOME WIN over Ok. State as a quality win.
So which is it? Also, on Bilas, he got stood up at the alter about 10 years ago by an Aggie woman, so he's got a little bit of a vendetta against us
This bracketography site also has some serious issues. It shows UNC-Wilmington, Syracuse, and Air Force in.
UNC-Wilmington has a horrible strength of schedule (80 spots lower than A&M). Syracuse is 4-6 in its last 10 including a 40 point home loss on Wednesday. Unless they beat Villanova today they're out.
And having AF above us is a joke - weaker RPI, weaker SOS, no real signature wins, weaker conference, etc.
Some guy on College gameday or something like that last night said he was on the Aggies bubble bandwagon, so they are getting love from atleast one anaylist.
