Out of 18, with about 70 percent wins, we go 13-5, 14-4 if about 80 percent wins.
I think we win 63, considering we are going to lose at least half of the back to backs, with 4 left. I think it comes down to how we play Dallas in the final meeting with them. If we win, I think its a lock we get hca until the finals. I don't think we will have home court against Detroit unless they self destruct and go 11-7, which seems very unlikely. We can't tie them, I believe, because they won the head-to-head, so we have to be a game ahead.
Hard to believe that the team could have their best record ever and still be a 4 seed. Choke Mavs Choke!!![]()

Damn, I guess I'm a little optimistic.
I see them finishing strong though. According to above... 16-2.
I think it is optimistic but not unrealistic.
Maybe it's just an easy schedule.
I'm sure we'll lose some we should've won, maybe someting like 14-4 is more realistic. But game by game, we should finish strong...don't know if it'll be 16-2 strong, but that'd be nice.![]()
on pace for 64 wins.![]()
We'll lose some against the weaker teams, but we usually come to play against the better teams, so it evens out. Even our tough games are not that bad, 'cept for Dallas and Phoenix. We should at least win one of those. If the Spurs can concentrate and come prepared to play, there is not a game in there we should lose. Go ahead, call me a homer.
Homer.
I kid, I'm sure we will lose a few. But we shouldn't lose more than one. That one being either Dallas or Phoenix. I would think Dallas, assuming Phoenix still doesn't have Amare back.
I think the only loss in that stretch will come to Sacramento.

Pistons and Dallas!?!?!
WHO TO ROOT FOR!!?!?!?
![]()
I'll root for Dallas on that one, unless the Pissons collapse between now and then.
I need them to win 13-15 out of 18 games for me to win the vBookie![]()
Spurs have 3 more back-2-back games
64 wins
I say the Spurs don't lose another home game the whole way.
Fri 17 Phoenix 43-19 -- Win
Sat 18 at Houston 29-35 -- Loss (away back to back after tiring PHX game)
Tue 21 Golden State 26-37 -- Win
Wed 22 at Denver 36-29 -- Loss (away back to back in Denver)
Fri 24 at Portland 20-43 -- Win
Sun 26 at Seattle 25-38 -- Win
Tue 28 at LA Clippers 37-25 -- Loss
Thu 30 at LA Lakers 33-31 -- Win
Sat 1 Washington 32-30 -- Win
Tue 4 at Utah 30-33 -- Win
Wed 5 Sacramento 32-31 -- Win
Fri 7 Dallas 50-14 -- Win
Sun 9 Memphis 35-29 -- Win
Tue 11 Seattle 25-38 -- Win
Thu 13 Orlando 22-41 -- Win
Sun 16 at Minnesota 26-37 -- Loss (got to account for loss to random bad team)
Mon 17 Utah 30-33 -- Win (home back to back, should win)
Wed 19 at Houston 29-35 -- Loss (seedings could be set, resting players)
13-5
63-19 record.
Go Spurs!
16-2.
66-16.
IMO, an incredibly successfull season.
But compared to Detroit's 67-15 year
and Dallas's 65-17 year.
Its lost in the media shuffle.
Weird how three teams could have amazing records this year. I wonder if there's ever been a season in which three teams have won more than 65 games?
^Yes, but on the flip side, there's a lot of average .500 teams in the league.
5 "L's" for the Mavs.
15 and 3, I predict they lose the Denver and Sacramento games (Back to Backs), and one other game.
THat would give us a 65-17 record, which I predict will be a notch above Dallas.
