aha! brilliant!
a&m will surely own them then
The espn'ers just indirectly gave a&m props. They said this would be the most interesting key game. I agree.
Can't wait to watch. I just hope (pray) that those fightin' texas aggies show another team the gusto and defense they showed against the 'horns. Just once, show up for another team too. Pretend they're wearing burnt orange. Do the "horns down" thing constantly. Whatever it is that makes you guys play so hard against us.
Oh yeah, and don't forget to bring a towel.
Cuz this could easily be a slaughter.
Should be a good game. I look for a upper 50's score victory for aTm, 58-53, something like that. If it gets into the mid 70's and above, it will be difficult for aTm to stay in the game. REFERENCE: the three t.u. games this year as a benchmark
by the way, I have horns in the finals vs Uconn in my bracket...
Sincerely, Nebraska, Colorado, Tech, etc...Just once, show up for another team too.
The wise guys in Vegas as the game as a pickem, an unprecedented occurance betw a 5 and 12 seed.
They know something we don't.
We know exactly what they know, which is that the selection committee got carried away with Syracuse and seeded them as a 5, when they should have been 8 or 9.
I gots Syracuse winning it but would be sweet if A&M could pull it out but bad for my brackets.
I agree with Extra Stout. What the is up with the media blowing gerry mcnamara and syracuse's ass?
They're a solid team but a five seed?
A&M has a great chance.....just please god, I hope the A&M coach paints a longhorn on the syracuse locker room or something, or dyes the syracuse jersey's a little to make their orange color more burnt...
Anything to get those aggs to show up the way we know they're capable of.
Syracuse has a better seed in the NCAA's (5) than it did in the Big East tourney (9). Guess the Orange deserved that after beating Cincinnati, Georgetown, UConn, and Pitt in four nights.
the uconn win was impressive, on the surface, but all season long i've thought uconn overrated as well. duke >> uconn.
I think if the Ags thug up, shove some people around, and play that stifling D that held UT under 45 points, the 'Cuse might have issues. No one in the Big East plays like that - not even Georgetown.
Then again, Boeheim just got his team up to beat four schools ranked (at the time) higher than the Orange - or the Ags. Who the knows what'll happen? I'll say this: if McNamara goes nuts like he did in the Garden, it'll be a long night for Gillespie in Jacksonville.
I'm OK with A&M winning, even though I didn't pick them anywhere. Especailly with OU currently losing to the this years Token Northern Hyphenated School That Can Hoop, more recruits will stay south of the Red River and Sampson's boys can atrophy a bit.
They also lost by 39 to DePaul 3 weeks ago...Then again, Boeheim just got his team up to beat four schools ranked (at the time) higher than the Orange - or the Ags.
It will be Dominique Kirk (Bowen Light) on GMac.
I have A&M winning this. McNamara won't be getting any MSG karma. So far my picks are decent except for Seton Hall.
I don't think Texas will go that far. I think Duke will kick 'em out.
I went back and forth on this game.
At work pool I took Syracuse on other I took A&M..but right now my heart says A&M is gonna take it.
still are...
