Don, David, Vexler and Walter all suck but not as bad as those lame ass Thompson Bros.

David Chancellor went from beint Don Harris's protoge, to somebody who couldn't hold his jock.
Vexler doesn't seem like he has any clue about sports.
Walter was brought in to stir it up, like Bryan Cox does. But he can't do that when the other person is a complete re . It's his job to be the re starter, not the others. He's so out of place.
Anyways, I'm venting. But that guy in the morning is good, Phil? He's good.

This may be the first time I agree with GoSpurs21, I stopped tuning in when I noticed I was acually getting sick listening to them talk about Broke Back mountain for 3 hours.
So is Avery Johnson but that does not mean he is good for a 3 hour radio show
At least the Thompson brothers talk about sports.
Harris isn't great, but in front of what we have already...he's a radio god.

It takes a second to distinguish which is which, you can normally do it with a trained ear. The one who sounds more re ed and has you wondering what the he's doing on the radio is Vex. The one with some sports knowledge, but still quite the idiot is David.
That said, who the is that third guy they put in there with them? Sounds like they Skreetch from saved by the bell. It's like they said " , our show sucks already...lets put a random guy into the mix, see what reaction that has".
No other option.You must all listen if you know they suck.
Eventually I switch to FM or NPR.
Come to College Station...they played BS on the local post 4pm radio yesterday about banning Jim Rome since he is "anti Aggie". The supposed irony was that he was interviewing Billy Gillispie today. The Aggies here did not care...they think Romey os a an Aggie Hater (like who cares...oops, I am not an Aggie).
Anyhow, It was a hoax, Romey was on, Gillispie was on, PB Blaster was sold, everyone wins...I guess

The only good ones on radio are the Thompson Brothers.
They are intelligent about the game, and they are hilarious.
Vexler is, OK.
Walter is pathetic, as is Charlie Parker, Parker was pathetic when he had the radio gig back in 96 and 97.

I think David and Vex are both cool. I like Wally.
I am not a big fan of Don Harris or Charlie Parker.
I went to school with the Thompson bros. They represent the Southside well.
But I don't listen very much because I get all the info I need right here.

I don't know if you made that up, but that sounds exactly like every ing conversation on that show. The chewing gum is interchangeable with any other random useless non-sports topic you want to stick in.
Probably because he made fun of the obvious. The Aggies trying to sue some professional team for using the "12th man" theme. I think it was the Seahawks, in the superbowl.
The Aggies suck. They should focus on winning, not suing. That was his take, pretty much.

Last time I listened to sports talk in San Antonio, Papa Joe Chevalier was arguing with people about whether Webber or Hardaway was going to be a better pro.

Didn't he used to have a show like late night, around 2 am? I think I actually called in once. I've called in to the Spurs morning show twice, but talking to those two is painful. Especially when it's sports related.
Back in '93 he was on in the daytime. When I lived in Waco the only sports talk you could get was the flatulent sports babe, who may have been the stupidest person ever to get an ESPN talk show.
I think I'm referring to the time when they played the Rome re-runs late night and then right after that papa joe came on. Or it might be right after that time period, when JT used to be on late night.

as for the clueless Thompson bros, yea they talk about sports but all their so called facts tend to be made up or just plain wrong...and besides theyre ing aggies
I like the Thompson brothers...I LOVE the "What's in Rob's pocket" game. I have only ever guessed it once (but I only hear snatches of clues). I also like Don Harris and David Chancellor. I don't care for Vex and Wally that much, but I can listen to them. It's not what they say that bothers me, it's that their voices are grating to me.
