    I was reading an article on future military technology using insects and they had a little sidebar on "animals in warfare"...

    here was one of the previous uses tried...

    WWII: Attach a bomb to a cat and drop it from a dive-bomber on to Nazi ships. The cat, hating water, will "wrangle" itself on to enemy ship's deck. In tests cats became unconscious in mid-air.


    just visualize this...being the guy whose job it was to throw the cat bombs out of the airplane...
