If the Spurs can't beat Houston without TMac, they don't deserve HCA.
tommorow is a b2b and its against houston who love to play a physical grind it out type game that can wear you down in a hurry. the spurs could be pretty tired after tonight's running game, so let's hope we have energy to keep the momentum going cuz we're just 2 games behind detroit for hca throughout the playoffs! (if you include tie breaker)
If the Spurs can't beat Houston without TMac, they don't deserve HCA.
we barely beat them last time without t-mac, they made a good run in the 4th
So does that make you think that Houston is somehow a good team, or that the Spurs just let the Rockets sneak up on them? Do you think it's likely they'll allow it to happen a second time? If the Spurs give the rotten effort they did against LA then they stand an excellent chance of losing. If they lose, they don't deserve HCA.
i dont think the rockets are a good team but they are a physical team that can give the spurs problems. but yeah its really shameful that if we just went a measly .500 on b2b's we'd have the #1 record in the league![]()
Ifs and buts, but yeah, it's time for the Spurs to dump that ty Eeyore "oh well, we just can't win a back to back" at ude.
for some reason when the spurs play teams like rockets n jazz they slow it down when they should just run them out the building
I've wondered about that. We know the Spurs can run and gun with the best of them. Why not try that on some teams that prefer a slow game. Run em in the ground the first half. I, for one would like to see Pop try that once.
B2B or not, for chrissakes, lately Houston is suiting up Yao Ming and a D-League team.
Spurs should have the energy to beat the rockets tomorrow. I mean tonights game was in San Antonio and its only a 2 1/2 drive to houston so they should have plent of rest for the game. Spurs will be ready to take back that #1 seed from the Mavs who beat the wizards at home. bye the way thank you knicks
We should start winning these back2backs.... it should be pissing Pop off and the team aswell..
Hopefully they get motivated over the fact that it's a back to back..
Atleast they don't have to travel THAT much.
Don't you really want to write: "The fact that the Spurs can't win in back to backs this year is proof that they are soft. Real three time champs wouldn't let mitigating factors like injuries keep them from winning those 2nd games of back to backs."
?
People are searching for something to about this year. Seriously.
Manu will probably have a big game tonight. He's long over-due.
I was thinking that Manu's minutes will probably be limited tonight because he was banged around so much last night.
Who knows.
Its not 2 and a half hours, and I doubt they drove.I mean tonights game was in San Antonio and its only a 2 1/2 drive to houston so they should have plent of rest for the game
Well Rasho should be good and rested if nothing else.
and Oberto.
Udrih didn't play much in the second half either.
