Yeah, it was pretty cool. Props to the Indians who run it.
6th place in the 50 person $35 tourney. 4th place paid out nicely![]()
As Oscar would say:
I don't know what it is, but the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle kicks ass!
We went down Monday to check out the action, and its a poker players dream! The tables are extremely weak and I was able to double what I took down there in about 5-6 hours of limit play.
We also played a tournament, but the structure was horrible and really inloves a lot more luck than actual poker skill. The blinds rise too quickly for you to make any moves and before you know it you're shoving your short stack all in with any pair or any ace.
We had some awesome hands down there but I had probably one of the best hands I've ever had. Torwards the end of our stay, LJ and I were at a really aggressive table where people were automaticaly straddling the blinds. Well, I pick up pocket fives only to see the flop come Jack, Five, Five. I flopped Quads!
I ended up picking up about 115 dollars or so in that one pot, which firmly put me in the black on the day.
LJ also picked up quads early in the day, but sadly his pot was much smaller.
The Kickapoo kicks ass man, I can't wait to go back.

Oh yeah, upon being asked what I did for a living, I told them I had an internet business. And I do, of a sort. I just didn't reveal what it was doing.
Suckas!![]()
What the you little , I thought we were going down there. Now you are on the hit list.
How many tables were there? What limits?
seriously i hate playin poker since im not a patience guy.
And just think...you can take your winnings to Piedras Negras and get your eyes checked, your teeth fixed, and buy some prescription drugs CHEAP!
Seriously, I think those are the only reasons Piedras exists. The main plaza of the town is nothing but dentists, optometrists, and pharmacies. There is a nice little bar just down the street though. Bar keep practically begged me and my friends to come in, it was a nice little joint.
Dude, I'll go again. That place is heaven.
There were 3-4 tables most of the day with a few more at night. They just had 3-6 and 5-10 yesterday, but apparently they get a 1-2 NL sometimes on the weekend as well. Oh, and a 10-20 as well.
Didn't take enough money. I'll have to take down a few hundred next time so that I can sit in that game. The same people play that and the 3-6 so its really weak as well.
Never new there was a Casino so near by. I need to go down there
Try pacific poker, its widely known as the fishiest games on the net...
PM your email address, and i'l refer you and we'll both get bonuses if you decide to deposit $$
The best way to deposit money is through a site called neteller, just go to neteller.com and open an acct deposit money and the poker site will walk you through the rest.
Well, the bonus is a 25$ bonus, I believe the minimum deposit amount is $20, and get the 25 bonus and start with 45.
You can play for free (play money) at any site, pokerstars, noblepoker. Just sign up with your email address. But to play with real money, you would need to setup an account with netteller, which charges you about 15-17% of your transaction.
I know, to deposit $25, i was charged close to $4 for the transaction. so 15% I guess. Paypal (3%) doesn't do transactions on gambling sites so thats why your forced to use netteller and they know it.
No it doesn't. It charges around 8 - 10% when you make a deposit IF you use Instantcash, (which means the money is in your acct right away) You can do a regular deposit for free, it will just take 2-3 days for the funds to show up in your account.
Well on top of the bonus, the site also gives you (I believe) 25% deposit bonus
I've never once been charged a dime from Neteller.
Well pacific is known for the softest games, the software isn't the greatest, it doesn't allow you to play more than 1 table at a time.
Other than that, the other sites i'd recommend are Pokerstars and Party Poker. The only site that im not too fond of is Full Tilt.
Well if you use instant cash you do, if not you wait 3-4 days. And it is 8%
Yeah, I used Instacash the first couple of times but the sites I did it with paid the fees. I haven't made any deposits in a really long time, just withdrawls. But I woudlnt' pay 8%, I'd get them to pay the fees for me or I'd just do the regular deposit and wait.
Most credit cards won't let you deposit due to gambling restrictions
Credt card companies based in the US don't allow the deposits. Neteller is a good site and all the good poker rooms work with them very quickly. If I need money in my bank account tomorrow, I can make it happen with Neteller. I've never had a single problem with them.
You could just show up to my game on Saturday. I accept all forms of cash.
Manny, you an online pro??
