I was suprised on this back to back they played better than usualy but they ed up the last 4 minutes.. Tim really needs to get his PF fixed over the summer and everybody rest and forget the international ball over the summer.
1. Tim probably will be playing with one eye for the rest of the season and playoffs if he keeps getting wacked.
2. Tim has apparently lost the respect of the officials (and lost all respect for the officials as well)
3. Manu is the only Spur who gives half a damn.
4. Michael Finley STILL cannot consistently knock down a jump shot.
5. Tony might be running out of gas.
6. Beno still can't play D, but can hit an open shot (something that seemed impossible tonight).
7. Bruce should never put the ball on the floor unless he absolutely has to.
8. Tim and the rest of the Spurs bigs have forgotten how to box out.
Despite all of these things I was pretty impressed with the fact that the Spurs actually attempted to put forth some effort tonight. At least on offense. I was also impressed with their ability to come back from a large deficit and briefly gain the lead. Had Carmelo not gone insane on us tonight and if the refs would have taken their wistles out of their asses every once in a while the Spurs might have won this game.

Oh, absolute complete ing bull .
Manu's has been completely stinking up the joint recently. Or hadn't you noticed the 30% shooting over the last five games?
He finally has one good game and now suddenly he's "the only Spur who gives half a damn"?
You just gave the bigto Tim, Tony, and Bruce. Some Spurs fan.
Your mixing the statistical catogery of "Who gives the most damn" with points scored making it the person who scores most gives the damn the most. I'm pretty sure Manu cared about winning other games too and tried his hardest, he and Tim Duncan are just on the wrong foot this year. But I'm also pretty sure ALL the Spurs players give damns.
Back to Back, listen to the Pop show, Pop doesn't give a about games right now, especially back to backs....
It's all about the playoffs.
We havent learned anything new. We "learned" what weve known for 3 years, the Spurs have problems on back to backs. BTW, there are none in the the playoffs, so I aint worried.
Then how come this was said only after tonight's game?
If Duncan doesn't do a 360, Spurs are out in the first or second round.
I don't know but, it's probably been said many times before during Back-to-Backs where this team doesn't give a damn anymore.![]()
Except Manu. Manu is the only one who gives a damn. Everyone else is a lazy worthless piece of .
One good thing is we know this team won't be peaking before the playoffs.
No, I'm pretty sure he was called out too. I remember whining how Manu is a sucky this year. It's all injuries though to Manu and Tim. But it isn't a really important matter. As long as you know that everybody trys to give 100% is what really matters.
The Sky Is Not Falling!!!!
53-15!!!
Because a 360 changes your direction?
HAHA, You got me there.
IQ levels of Spurs fans drop a couple of notches after a loss.
I thought Duncan looked decent tonight.
logged a good amount of minutes last night.
Alot of minutes tonight.
Give credit to Camby and Evans, they are good defenders.
4-9 tonight, the 9th being a desperation 3 down 10.4. Michael Finley STILL cannot consistently knock down a jump shot.
Fin had 11 points on 8 shots tonight, Id say he did alright.
missed last nights game did we?5. Tony might be running out of gas.
Did Beno actually make a shot tonight?6. Beno still can't play D, but can hit an open shot (something that seemed impossible tonight).
Eight wonderful excuses!
1. Wasn't even a direct smack, Tim ran into him kind of hard while trying to drive into the paint, not the other way around.
2.Tim will now be treated like every other player in the NBA with fairness.(thank god!)
3.Do you only say that when he actually has a good game once in a while?
4.Thank you Finely, inconsistent and defense liability keep it up!![]()
5. Tony is still good just in a slump, He'll recover very soon!
6.Looks much improved to me, have to give him credit.
7.What to say it's Bowen
8. Duncan has been doing this for quite some time(injury) and Mo just sucked this game, he was Dampier-like(couldn't catch for !)
1. The playoffs do not have back-to-back games.
He shot just under 50% tonight and had 29 the night before.Tony is still good just in a slump, He'll recover very soon!
Where is this slump??
Yeah he made some bad passes, but they were agressive on the break ones.
had 11 tonight 4-9, Ill take that from my back up guard.Thank you Finely, inconsistent and defense liability keep it up
defensive liability??
I wouldn't say hes Bruce Bowen, but his D has improved since November.
quit hating on your former player.
5. Tony might be running out of gas.
What the are you guys talking about?5. Tony is still good just in a slump, He'll recover very soon!
One game shouldn't generate these type of comments.
Last night he had 29 and 7 and today he's running out of gas for the season or in a slump.
Y'all need to step away from the keyboard and call it a night.
Everyone keeps repeating these sentiments. But there can be back-to-backs in the playoffs. It just doesn't happen often.
TP played fine.
Nazr was a let down, and I honestly don't knwo what Pop was thinking with the Oberto/Rasho lineup.
