    be proud, they hate us because they fear us. bruce was so hard on the phoenix "sucks" team that everytime a big time scorer owns him they noticed it right away. well, we hope amare gets his old self back so when we meet in the playoffs, no excuses will be made.

    To be honest, Melo does give Bowen a hard time. Melo does what he is suppose to do. He uses his body (which is bigger than Bowen's) to score. No big deal though. The Nuggets nor the Suns will be able to take San Antonio out in a series.

    damn, even i know better than to talk trash. spurs are a damn good team and it took a GREAT effort to take them down last night.

    they are the team you do NOT want to face in the playoffs.

    Denver outplayed the Spurs last night. They killed it in the third quarter - got up a few before fatigue and elevation put a stop to the run. Back to back games and going from sea level to 5300 ft is a big deal.

    I live at 6000 + feet normally and I am used to it. Going up to 8500 + feet for a local is tough if you are doing physical effort. I think it takes days to have your blood/oxygen level adjust - not enough for less than 24 hours. I feel in the playoffs the time between games give Denver a little advantage in the first few games that they may have HCA. The Spurs will definately have the HCA vs Denver should they meet.

    It was an exciting game and plenty of Spurs fans at the Pepsi Center. The guys playing are so big in real life that is almost seems like the court is too small (compared to the angles on TV that you get).

    I was embarrassed by the fans being so happy to see the opponent go down with pokes in the eye and whacked heads and knockdowns.

    I am not a pussy and love watching physical play - it is a little inhumane how some fans get off on Manu and Tim and Parker being put on their ass.

    Denver definately deserved the win - the Spurs did not have enough gas to pull it out.

    Denver is a formidable opponent when healthy and clicking.

    I have tried to watch every game possible on LP and record the ones that happen while the Spurs play on my DVRs.

    I still feel that any team can beat any team on any given night.

    The difference is that HCA will be the thing to tip the scales. No back to backs either.

    I don't see Nuggets going past the second round .... As inconsistent the Spurs are - the Nuggets are even more bewildering.
