I thought this was one of his best games
he almost had 20 and 12
I don't about you all but I prefer the 20+ pts and 6 or 7 assists tony parker and a WIN than the 10-20 pts 10+ assists and a LOSS.
I thought this was one of his best games

you mean he shouldnt hand out assist and just shoot the ball himself?
Actually, not a terrible idea, since his FG% is better than anyone else's on the team.
yeah, from INSIDE THE PAINTYou think that if TP starts taking the majority of the teams shots the other team isn't going to devise a way to stop him?
I think TP's game today was excellent, this is how he needs to play every day. We definately did not loose because of TP today so I really don't understand the point of this thread![]()
tony was a huge part of the team's hot start - he found everyone in the first quarter.
I think the point is, and I agree, that there is a fine line with Tony and how much he has the ball. The Spurs are better off with Tony have 6-7 assists, Manu 4-5, TD 4-5, than they are with Tony having 12-14. They are a much better offensive team when the ball continually moves and does not reside with one person too much.
Well he had 8 of his assists in the first quarter and the Spurs dominated during that time offensively.
True, but how many times has that happened this year? And how many times after that did he try to make something out of nothing and wind up on the floor with nine other guys going the other way? I don't think that is the formula for this team to win.
Players games are most often dictated by the defense that the other teams throws at them to stop them. Tony is learning how to react and find another part to his game when this happens.
Parker is the spurs best offensive player this year. I don't know if Beno can do even half as good. The spurs will have to play inside out and the game will be lower scoring.
inside out is good, as long as nazr can remember to pass it back out when it goes in to him. no pump fakes, please.
