Just heard on ESPN that the NFL is giving Roy Williams a fine for a hit he laid on Laverneus Coles. Said it was a helmet to helmet hit. What a crock.

lavar got fined for a finger on a facemask a couple weeks ago.....

I think that sucks if it took that long for the league to crack down on it.
The fines are getting rediculous... you can't play defense anymore. I remember one hit Darren Woodson got a penalty for on Darrel Jackson... he led with his shoulder but the NFL deemed it was "unsafe" because Jackson was in the air... so basically a defender has to wait for the WR to catch the ball, land, then run before they can hit him... not good for the game.
The NFL is becoming a bunch of pussies with the way the league is running it.
Pathetic.
