Guess anything American is wrong, right Dan?
Chevy apprentice is holding a contest for online commercials - I guess someone at Chevy hasn't gotten around to screening their entries yet...

Guess anything American is wrong, right Dan?
yeah thats exactly what he was saying xray
that was pretty funny dan
we always talk about these Ford Commercials on TV and theyre always bull ting about stats and enginering and safety and blah blah
all they have to say is
"we don't have OnStar*. Period, our team of Enginers have been developing hundreds of ways of how not to put that in your new Ford
and we won't stop until every FORD ever made never has an OnStarlike system
thats our pledge at Ford Motor Co,
we.
have.
been selling
cars.
since *year*
and not.
one.
has
had.
Onstar*
-Ford"
I really would buy a ford in the future
I knew that, how come you didn't dummy!
Ford!!!!
the company with the most recalls.
pathetic.
SOrry, but GM has more resale value than ford.
Arguing about who is better between GM and Ford is like arguing about whether pig or horse tastes better.
This argument falls to closely to my tree.
<--Auto industry supplier.
I hope you've diversified your customer base, because the Michigan-based automakers will stop paying their bills within the next couple of years.
Hey stop it with that about them not paying their obligations!
I own some GM bonds.
I own a chevy
but ford owns chevy in everyway
even though fords new regular duty trucks and the ones before that look like
the ford superduty still regulates from upon
but thats trucks
total brand ownage over GM is mainly due lack of OnStar*ability
I'm sorry,
you still left out the fact that ford has had the most recalls of any car manufacturer, and that OnStar has nothing to do with engine performance, but more with class envy.
I envy OnStar* thats why I'll change my brand loyalty to avoid it and all of its components
Onstar is a waste, but it's a commercial waste, what you should really look out for is RDIF, that's the system the state will use to toll roads, hand-out traffic infractions, and determine user-fees (per mile fees).
Were building them there, so we can compete here? Or, were building them there so 'they' don't have to come here? Geezz, good thing Toyota and Honda are opening plants in former GM/Ford cities in the U.S...
General Motors building $600 to $650 million US plant in Mexico
08:00:34 EST Mar 31, 2006
DETROIT (AP)CBC- General Motors Corp., which is closing plants in the United States, says it will spend $600 million to $650 million US to build a small car assembly plant in Mexico, employing 1,800 to 2,300 workers. It is to open in 2008.
The plant will be built in the central Mexican state of San Luis Potosi, GM spokesman Carlos Gelista said Thursday. He said the Mexican government is providing financial incentives for the project, with construction starting in May or June.
The plant will produce compact and subcompact vehicles, he said, adding that GM does not plan to sell any of them in the United States.
"We are looking to try to export some of the production of that plant to Central America and South America," he told the Detroit Free Press. He did not say how many vehicles it would build annually but said it would make 30 vehicles an hour.
Put it this way. Dana Corp. just filed Chapter 11. We built a machine for them worth $750k with 10% already paid off. The moment the news broke about them filing, we went into COD mode for delivery of the machine.
They wrote the check. We deposited it. It bounced.
Still have their machine.
you do realized that you dont have to get onstar right?
when i boughtmy truck at the end of 04 they asked what i wanted in my truckand i told them i dont care as long as it doesnt have onstar.
