I don't think there's a single thing I watch that I would call "the best" anymore. I used to be partial to "West Wing," "Sopranos," "Six Feet Under," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and "Friends." All my shows have been cancelled, and nothing interesting in replacing them. I tried to get into "Lost" and "Grey's Anatomy," but it's just crap to me. "Antamoy" reminds me of short-lived "Gideon's Crossing" that had Homicide alum Andre Braugher as the head of a teaching hospital with Crossing Jordan's Ravi Kapoor, Nip/Tuck's Rhona Mitra (I love the accent), and - Suprise! - Grey's Anatomy's Eric Dane. It was actually a very good show, and I was disappointed when ABC cancelled it. I didn't think it would re-surface with a new name and new faces five years later.
"Lost" seems like a "24" ripoff, written simply to get you to tune in next week. So let me see the final episode after the show has run its course, and I can find out what the is going on! The same thing for 24. It was entertaining...for a season.
I never have liked reality television programming, and that pretty much eliminates everything else.
I guess what I get the most mileage out of now are shows like "Naked Science," "Re-zoned," "Scrubs," and "Frontline." Past that, I don't know why I watch television anymore.
