At halftime of the contest, Pacers legend Reggie Miller will have his No. 31 retired in a ceremony. The NBA's all-time leader in 3-pointers and a five-time All-Star, Miller starred with the club from 1987-2005.

I hope this charges everyone up enough to get Indy the victory over the Suns, who I want to continue to nose dive.

During the Ceremony he will kick his leg out and fall down trying to draw one last foul.

Reggie was one of the greatest shooters to every play the game. His rivalry with the Knicks was fantastic. He deserves all of his accolades.

The fact that his best games came against the huge market Knicks is a big reason he's thought of so highly. If he was Reggie Miller the Cavs killer no one would care.

Ask Craig Ehlo if being a Cavs killer will make you famous.

My grandfather knew a veal rancher. The guy spent his whole life killing calves, and he never got famous for it.

    Overrated?

You call being one of the greatest shooters in the history of the NBA, overrated?

I guess the Iceman was overrated too.

As they prepare to perform the unveiling, Reggie will jump sharply sideways into whomever is closest, and beg for a foul.

I wouldn't really be playing a flopping bit on other players when we have Manu.

I don't mind people who flop on defense, but offensive floppers/fakers are another thing altogether. Reggie would jump AWAY from the basket into someone, and he did it like 10 times a game. He wouldn't even throw a ball fake to get you in the air. He just jumped sideways or backwards or whatever into your stationary ass, and he'd get the call!! If he weren't getting those ridiculous calls and weren't a 90% FT shooter his career scoring avg. would probably be about 15 ppg.

He never really had a core of good players to get him anywhere. So you can't say it was his fault.

Reggie was second or third tier, NBA-wise. That's why he only made one Finals. The great ones make those around them better. He was a one trick pony: he had a jump shot. That's it. Other than his FTs and jumper, I don't think there is any other portion of his game that be described as anything better than "average".
