They've had similar stuff here in Houston. Many of the people who were interviewed were saying things like, "My parents/grandparents were immigrants who snuck across the border, and they worked hard at some job for years and never broke any laws, they deserve to be citizens." etc. I can accept that part of the argument. But where they lose me is the way they are protesting with these school walk outs. The reason your relatives were willing to risk life and limb to get across the border was so that your asses could have a better life, and the first step towards that is an education. What would really be moving to me would be seeing these teens sacrificing a weekend to do this, instead of cutting class.
