    The "deep" Mavs 64 in 3rd

    Man talk about a team seemingly going into an absolute funk after a Feb totally at home, payback is heck on the tough road that is the NBA.

    As I already post in the other thread.

    Mavs weaknesses right now.
    1. Perimeter defense (Harris, Howard, Griffin)
    2. Poor point guard play (Harris)
    3. Stackhouse and Armstrong. (Neither can shoot but think they can)
    4. Van Horn coming back
    5. Poor rebounding (Howard and Griffin)
    6. Long Road Trip.

    Mavs' problem is that Magik are shooting (now down to) FG 61%.

    61% for 3 qtrs would beat any NBA team.

    Nowitzki's on fire right now. Mavs only down by 5. Terry finally showing some intensity. It's almost like Terry sleeps through the first 3 quarters and decides to put some effort in the 4th quarter.

    They lost the second(and third) game of their "long" road trip.

    Use that excuse after their 5th or 6th game on the road.

    The Suns, who've made a new commitment to D, gave up 126 to Toronto tonight in their 140-126 win (IN REGULATION!!!).

    Dal gave up 108 to offensive powerhouse Orlando in a loss.

    And the Pistons, at home, have already surrended 99 to the Bucks with 3 mins to go in the 4th and are currently up 100-99. The whole Bucks team, including Bogut and Kukoc are wearing black leggings.
