april 1st,
nice one.
I don't know the details but I heard it on the radio.
Shaq persuades him and it is a minimum contract.
How the that was possible?![]()
So what?
teams can sign FA after the trade deadline.
Here's what the Heat think/thought of Sprewell
Wednesday, 02 November 2005
Sprewell wants in, Heat say “don’t call us, we’ll call you” Latrell Sprewell is looking for a job, and he’s got his sites set on the Miami Heat to provide it to him. His motives for seeking employment are unclear. If he’s looking at a chance for a ring he’s offering his services for the minimum, if he’s looking to feed his kids he’s attempting to snare the remainder of Miami’s Mid-Level Exception, or if he’s looking for another coach to strangle he might just need a tryout. Either way, the interest appears to belong more to Sprewell than to the Heat organization.
I don't think they want to add a rusty, egocentrical, no-defense-playing veteran to their team, especially at this point in the season. They're not that desperate.![]()
Playoff bound teams can sign anyone who hasn't played in a NBA game that season up untill the last day of the reg season....
I think![]()
Especially since they already have Walker, why would they need two.
Darn I was hoping that was true.
Like it would matter.....![]()
