Jevon Snead 25 yard run touchdown, nice speed.
Snead-McCoy I
Just won't be the same without Ramonce though.
Anyone gonna watch?
Jevon Snead 25 yard run touchdown, nice speed.
I remembered today was the Orange vs White game because my friend was at the Texas State spring football game since she is a trainer.
look for Shipley and Jermichael Finley to have huge huge breakout seasons also killabrew is gonna be BAD and regulate
05 freshman all american brian orakpo will be chode regulating too
Jordan Shipley is the most fragile longhorn ever. He almost got injured again.
I like Jermichael Finley
Why isn't Ramonce there?
Finley looks sharp. Ramonce has followed the all-too-familiar-longhorn-athlete path of failing every single one of his classes, and therefore is academically ineligable for spring practices.
lol
when are these guys going to realize NOTHING is more important than academics. sheesh.
Maybe it's because he's a CHODE or a REGULATOR!![]()
lol @ hook dem
its funny to see you finally make a joke
It wasnt the same without Billy Pittman either...
You know you're in Texas when people actually care about Spring practice...
Orange and white game? Shiiit, I went over to the SAISD Sports Complex thinking it was Burbank's orange and white spring football game.![]()

Well I guess we can talk about the OU - Oregan bowl game, and how OU came back in the closing minute...
yeah no selvin
no pittman
no mi griffin
no kindle
theyre fine though
no ramonce
I think theyll do him like erick hardeman
jordan shipley got to pretend he plays football
and nate jones was CATCHING BALLS with his HANDS
these WRs are talented and go deeeep
muckleroy is GonBreak out
the SENIOR aaron ross clowned on a PR
he's been making plays since he was a freshman, him AND tarrell brown and mi griffin bring the experience, at their positions, that they play...in FOOTBALL
its amazing, again the TEXAS SECONDARY
roy miller didnt stand out like I was hoping, lokey looked larger and has the experience
dockery had a false start
no big deal but FRESHMAN tanner looked strong and his spot could get thefted
and ulatowski FRESHMAN tackle was pushing peoples faces to the dirt
and Texas has verbals from 4 of the top 5 olinemen in the state for 2007
and jamarcuss webb the 3rd best tackle in the nation coming this fall
the online is going to be solid
TEXAS O-LINE
in the future
its amazing
since vince declared i have supported cmccoy for QB (after pondering days and days), he went into spring as #1 and I still like him
but colt needs all the practice time with the first team he can get, so though I don't know the specifics of practices theyre doing now, I expect mack isnt a fool and he'll name colt #1 this summer, putting to bed these smegmacious rumors that snead will start when north texas rolls around

shipley is so fragile he gets hurt in scrimmages
also if mack's intent on letting colt and jevon run the zone-reads, we're gonna have some injured QB's this season
more unfortunate than fragile
hes no thispego
I hope they cut down on the QB runs more than they already have
I think theyre trying to show that they still CAN do it
and also test it out on the D
If you noticed they hardly ran the ball with the tailbacks at all
dude he looks like he'll break if you just tackle him
The biggest surprise of the scrimmage was when they flashed Melton's season totals from last year. 458 yards? You ting me? This guy sucked ass and still got 458 yards?
dude I you not
I know he's white
but he really is a coaches son
and he has a high football IQ
ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL
perfect, right wen i get home. time for popcorn
So I was at this game, front row 50 yard line. It was interesting to watch the players. Shipley looked pretty good, but boy I know my horns are gonna go up several times for that boy during the season. I think I could go out there and get hurt less than he does. I've been more of a Snead fan since I saw him in the All-American game, but at the same time I like Colt McCoy (btw, I think they're lying about his height, he does not look 6'2"...i saw him right before the game as we were both walking to the stadium and he is tiny, it was a lot different than being around Vince Young). They both looked pretty good, and Mack has already named Colt the starter, so unless anything changes over the summer, I think its his spot to lose. He will most likely start against UNT with Snead getting a good amount of playing time until one of the two breaks away and becomes the obvious better player. Kind of strange that us and OSU have switched roles. Last year we went into their home and they had a QB duel going on and this year its the exact same situation flipped around. Should be interesting. Tim Crowder looks pretty amazing (visually). I saw him warming up, and all I can say is that he's toned out a lot and gotten a lot more Michael Huff-ish since last fall when I met him. Almost hard to tell its the same person. I'm anxiously awaiting September.
