I thought the Spurs would probably win 63 or 64 wins. Now I"m thinking probably 65. If they wrap up the 1st in the wC, but can't catch Detroit, they might rest the starters the last game or 2, again giving them 63 or 64.

Pretty impressive finish, looks like. We have a good chance to win out if we need/want.

But the way Detroit has finsihed, there is almost NO chance we catch them.

The second game of Spurs two B2B are with Spurs @ATT and against opponents who are also on second of B2B.

I bet the Spurs win out for 66 - 16.

Jazz will be motivated and dangerous tomorrow night to stay in contention for 8th seed, plus they outrebounded and beat the Pistons twice, and beat the Spurs last season, so they are probably feeling pretty good vs Spurs.

The Sonics and Nuggets losses killed the Spurs hopes for Finals HCA.

I bet on 60-62 in the vBookie. If I had to guess now, I'd have to say 62 or 63.

The next 4 games are the most critical for the Spurs. Utah will be playing at home, and the game means even more to them, since they're fighting for a playoff spot at all. Spurs should win, but will have to be SHARP to do so.

Sacramento has a similar urgency, but they'll be playing back to back, but then again, so are we. We should win this game, but we have to outlast them, and everyone will be tired - on both ends of the court. Tony's youth and Bruce's stamina should be the difference maker in this one.

Dallas has a similar urgency, because they're fighting the Spurs for the top spot. Spurs should come out and make a statement in this one.

The fourth game against Memphis, who I think may be the Spurs toughest opponent of the 4, because they're so good defensively, but I think Memphis has the least urgency and Spurs should win this one because theyy're at home.

I say 63, and I am sticking to it. Even if Pop rests some players, the bench will probably step up because they know its the last chance to shine before Pop sets his playoff rotations. The bench won't win every game, but they will surely win some.

It's odd, but this is the first time I can remember where i was so completely unsure of what lineups would be used this late in the season.

The Spurs will win exactly 3 fewer games than the Mavericks.

Even if the Spurs loose to the Mavs in their final meeting that would be difficult to do. Mavs are 2.5 back and have only 8 games left. So even if they win out and go 63-19 the Spurs would have to loose 6 of the last 9. Not going to happen. I am sticking with my original prediction of 64 wins for the Silver and Black.

    I had 68-14. Right now I'm guessing 62-20.

I had 65-17. I'm thinking that still looks pretty right on.

I can't believe people are thinking the Spurs are going to finish 5-4 of the last 9 with the way Duncan, Manu and Parker are playing.

Besides the fact that you guys predicted this, please justify it. I understand 2 of the games are back-to-back, but 1 of them is at home, for got sake. Most of these games are at home, especially against the dangerous teams.

I know we play Dallas, but I don't think they have it in them right now.

I think we lose against Sac at home one of the back-to-back's.

MAYBE one of the last ones if it does'nt matter anymore for seeding or HCA.

"1 of them is at home"

both second games are @ATT, and the other team are also on 2nd of B2B.

Spurs end season with 12 game streak, 66 - 16.

    (I don't remember what predicted but it was about 65 +/2 )
