moses malone and dominque wilkins arent in the hall because of their time in San Antonio so I dont even count them.

To me the only Spurs in the hall of fame are Gervin, Robinson, and Duncan.

An active player in the HOF?

Or did you mean "are a lock to be in the HOF"?

Ginobili will be HoF, if not for the Spurs he will be for his FIBA era.

How often you see a MVP Euroleague and Olympic plus an All Star in the NBA?.

I believe the basketball HOF includes a player’s entire collegiate and professional career regardless of league or association.

does the hall of fame put players in for their over sea's career?
    Sure

Dalipagic - never played in the US
Cosic - played in the NCAA but never in the NBA (despite being drafted)
Drazen Petrovic - Although he played 4 years in the NBA, his biggest achievements were from overseas (he died before he could reach superstar status in the NBA - which many think he would have)

I'm sure there are many more examples...

    That would be a travishamockery.

Spur fans should start pe ioning 'Nique and the HoF to have him go in as a Spur. They already shafted us on Moses.

    Yeah that's right.

I've got to agree in this one.
Why he should be be a Hawk? They traded him for.... Danny Manning? Come on. He will be in the HOF but as a spur not a hawk.

wow... in that case, I really don't see how Manu wouldn't make it. I mean... I'd think its a given.

Manu is definitely on track to make it due to his career achievements and habit of winning literally everywhere he has been.

The Basketball HOF is not just an NBA Hof, it's all of basketball, including Women, NCAA, and international compe ion men and women, FIBA and Euroleague...

Their criteria is a little screwy sometimes...Dominique was definitely a first ballot player but he was overlooked last year for several people, that IMO, were not as accomplished as he...I don't care what the criteria was.

But anyway, they corrected that mistake...

That means that, yet again, the most worthy player not in the HOF is a San Antonio Spur...

I defy anyone to look at the achievements, NCAA, ABA, and NBA, of Artis Gilmore, and give me a logical explanation on why Artis Gilmore was not a first ballot unanimous selection....much less a guy that has been passed over for 15 years now.

To this day it's still mindboggling that he is not in the HOF...it was even moreseo 15 years ago when they first started passing him over...His accomplishments still stick out like a sore thumb to this day, after a lot of great players have come and gone...I just don't uderstand why the guy isn't the HOF.

The basketball HOF is not going to be a credible HOF until Artis Gilmore is inducted.

    Aris Gilmore - fantastic choice.
He should be there also, He is top 20 center in the history of the NBA, and his ABA career was awesome. The best bigman who ever played in ABA.

Not sure what the wait is for the NBA...I think it's 5 years since Barkley is just now eligible...I think DRob will be the class of 2009...so 3 more years till he gets in.

Drob's HOF class is going to be loaded...MJ and Stockton will be on the same ballot.
