Tower Life Building Catches Fire

One person is being treated after a fire broke out at the Tower Life building in downtown San Antonio close to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to fire officials.

Firefighters say the fire started on the 29th floor. Smoke could be seen pouring out of the needle at the top of the building.

Firefighters tell News 4 WOAI welders were working on the needle at the top of the building when the fire broke out. The building is located on St. Marys downtown had to be evacuated, according to fire officials. For the latest details, make sure you watch News 4 WOAI or listen to Newsradio 1200 WOAI.
