If Tim had not been ill with flu-like symptons for days, we would have begun to see this kind of play earlier. Look for the Spurs to go into the post season with this kind of work ethic.

I don't know who flipped the switch, but the Spurs played some great basketball tonight and the crowd at AT&T was in 2nd round form.
- The Spurs had great ball movement. Tony Parker led the way with 7 assists in the first half.
- The defense was much improved. Duncan led the way with 5 blocks.
- The 3 point shooting from the bench was outstanding. Finley and Barry drilled shot after shot.
- Tim Duncan's mobility and spring were much better and he was much more aggresive as well.
- Bruce Bowen bounced back from Ray Allen's showcase in Seattle to hold him under 20 points and the radar.
- Rasho played like he rarely has. He was confident, drilling shots, and playing good defense. He got some defensive three second calls and got in Parker's way a couple of times, but all-in-all, not a bad day for Rasho.
It was nice to see the switch come on, if only for a game.

It is still a Seattle but I think we want more play like that by the spurs.
They must improve now!
Only real negative stat for Spurs was 21 TOs, which is about 7 more than Spurs avg TO/game. There was a lot of up and down, and the Spurs played a little out of control at times.

The telephone ...I don't know who flipped the switch...
While last night was promising, it's still Seattle...
Speaking of Tim's recent illness, the AP game story says that TP appears to be coming down with it.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Tony Parker caught Tim Duncan's flu-like symptoms. He avoided the shooting woes.
Parker had 27 points and nine assists, and the San Antonio Spurs increased their lead in the Western Conference to one game by beating the Seattle SuperSonics 104-95 Tuesday night.
Duncan, who was 3-of-12 from the floor entering the fourth quarter, complained of aches and a fever last week. Now Parker has the bug.
"This morning I woke up with a headache and a sore throat," Parker said. "It was kind of tough. I didn't know if I could play. But Will [Sevening, the Spurs trainer] said to try, so I did."
I hope we get this injury/flu bug out of our system when the poffs start. A 60 win season and not even playing our best ball is amazing.
GO FREAKING SPURS GO!
The passing in that game last night was phenomenal. Handling in general has been raised a notch. More than half the time, Seattle didn't have a clue what was going on, where the ball was, or who had it. Spurs were pirates!
This is gonna be so much fun!
And how many were Beno & Sean's in the last 4 minutes or so? About half?![]()
Yes, I think so.
The crowd was awesome last night.![]()
My biggest concern is Manu finding a rythm. With him in and out of the lineup, it's really hard for me to gauge where the team is at. They played amazing last night, but can they continue to do when Manu is back and minutes/rotations are different?
They had 3 TO´s combined.
