Finally. I've waited all season for a reason to believe. Now I can finally look at this team and honestly see the parts to a championship. I've been slow to warm up to this team because it hasn't really given max effort the whole season. It has just been going thru the motions all year waiting for the playoffs to tip off.
Although the Spurs lost tonight against the Orlando Magic at home, Believe is Back in full force. Tim Duncan is Tim Duncan again. Against the Sonics last game, I saw glimpses of the real Tim Duncan. Tonight against the Magic, he played even better. His offensive game is coming around and he was much better on defense than he has been all season.
That is what I've been waiting for. The Spurs will sweep the final three games and head into the postseason on a high note. They'll have posted the best regular season record in franchise history and will be ready to roll in the playoffs.
Tim Duncan -- He's just getting started. He's going to have a better playoff run than he did in 2005. He's going to remind people who the best player in the world is.
Manu Ginobili -- Manu will shake off the injury bug and will be the team's killer. His pick-and-roll with TD will be a staple late in games. How do you stop that play? You don’t.
Tony Parker -- Tony has had his best season of his career and it will continue into the playoffs. He'll have his moments where his shot won't fall, but he'll do enough to cement himself as a top four point guard.
Bruce Bowen -- This will be Bowen's best playoff run. He'll play shutdown defense and will work in a much better offensive game.
The Centers -- Nazr, Rasho and Oberto will be decent. Each will have a game here and a game there where they'll play good. They'll do enough to buy time for the other players.
The Bench -- Michael Finley, Robert Horry and Brent Barry give the Spurs their most potent bench they've ever had. Finley and Barry will hit big shots. Robert Horry is big shots.
The PGs -- Nick Van Exel and Beno Udrih aren't much, but they can get the job done. Van Exel will hit some huge threes and Beno will do his job when called upon.
The first round will be a little tougher than expected. The Spurs will come out slow in game one but will play well in the fourth quarter to take a 1-0 series lead against the Kings. Game two will be easier and they will head to either Sacramento with a 2-0 lead. The Spurs will drop game three but will respond well in game four with Robert Horry hitting some dagger threes. The Spurs will bring it back to San Antonio to finish them off.
Against the Mavs, the Spurs will come out and win game one in the first battle of the second round. The Mavs, inspired by the coach of the year, will come out and steal game two with Dirk causing all types of matchup problems. The Spurs will respond by going to Dallas and winning games three and four on the road. Game five will be epic but the Spurs will come out ahead and will move on to the Western Conference Finals.
There, the Spurs will face the Los Angeles Clippers. The Spurs will go on to sweep the Clippers in four toughly contested battles.
The Finals will be a rematch of the 2005 series. The Spurs will go into Detroit and shock the world with a game one win. Detroit will come back and take the second game. But once back in San Antonio, the Spurs won't lose again and will raise their fourth championship trophy in game five. Tim Duncan will be the Finals MVP and the Spurs will head into the offseason figuring out how they'll go about getting number five.

Tim Duncan's game tonight showed, that he is back, the foot feels better, when he gives a crap, his shot blocking, rebounding, and 1 on 1 D is good too.
He was a BEAST tonight.
A healthy Parker and Ginobili would've allowed Tim tonight to go for 40.

The spurs weren't clicking all season long. They've gfot some moments, but wasn't consistent. And you know why - injuries and stuff.
Where is the switch?
Orlando in a b2b killing the spurs. I know that TPark will be here in a second with TP had flu, and the spurs intentions are not club record. Ofcourse, but Tim said they want to win and go to the playoffs in a good note.
Leave the note l;eave the rhythm - The spurs are going to the playoffs with more "ifs" then in a previous years. And it is sad that the BELIEVE thread must be released.
