San Antonio s’est incliné à domicile contre Orlando, 92-80. Comment expliques-tu cette défaite ?


Nous nous sommes complètement écroulés en deuxième mi-temps. Plus rien ne fonctionnait. De son côté, Orlando a très bien joué le coup. Ils ont profité de notre baisse de régime en seconde période pour prendre le large. En shootant à 50% de réussite, il était très difficile de les arrêter. Je tiens à féliciter Orlando, ils ont réalisé un très bon match. Il n’y a rien à dire, ils méritent cette victoire.




Tim Duncan était pourtant dans un grand soir.


Tim a été très bon tout au long de la soirée. Malheureusement, le reste de l’équipe ne l’a pas suivi. Avec Ginobili absent, nous n’avons jamais réussi à trouver de solutions.




Tu n’as pas l’air d’aller bien.


C’est le moins qu’on puisse à dire. Je n’étais pas bien mardi contre Seattle mais cela ne m’avait pas empêché de faire un bon match. Mais là, je suis vraiment mal. J’ai une grippe intestinale. Je n’ai plus d’énergie, je suis épuisé. A l’image de l’équipe, j’ai tenu une mi-temps. Je me suis ensuite écroulé, je n’en pouvais plus.




Comment comptes-tu t’organiser jusqu’au match de lundi contre Utah ?


Je suis actuellement sur la route de l’entraînement. Pop nous a demandé de venir pour faire de la musculation. Mais je sais que je ne vais rien faire. Avec le day off de samedi, j’ai deux jours devant moi pour me soigner. J’espère que je vais vite me débarrasser de ce virus.




Vous n’avez pas su profiter de la défaite de Dallas à Phoenix. Pas trop déçu ?


C’est vrai qu’on aurait pu faire définitivement le break. Mais ce n’est pas grave. Il reste trois matchs à disputer et nous comptons deux victoires d’avance. Nous avons donc toutes les cartes en main pour finir à la première place.
