    Top Winning percentages

For players with over 300 games played since 1970

    1. Magic Johnson .740

    2. Larry Bird .736

    3. Tony Parker .734

    4. Michael Cooper .729

    5. Tim Duncan .720

Also Tony has appeared in more playoff games before the age of 24, than any player in the history of the NBA.

Now it is a given that he got the benefit of playing with DRob and TD, but still, this is pretty amazing stuff.

So bottom line is that nobody has choked in more playoff games than Tony Parker and relied on someone else (Tim Duncan) to bail his ass out?

    Sweet!

    Impressive. Way to go Tony.

But even more impressive is Tim Duncan, since he has been playing for 9 years and still has one of the highest winning Percentages EVER.

    Huh?
500 games is more than 300 games. TD would have the same winning percentage, they are not just counting the last 300 games. That is just the minimum number to qualify, to be statistically relevant.

Jim did you go to high school in Dallas?
I mean where does Duncan rank amoung the all time games won % leaders?
With at least 500 games played for others to qualify, or better yet minimum of 700 games for those on the all time list.

It would be the same, except TP would not be on list. Magic, Bird and Cooper would be on list still, and TD moves up 1 spot.

TD has been in 665 games, btw...so he would not qualify for over 700 games.

Damn, I thought this was going to be one of those wacky Chuck Norris/Vin Diesel/Jack Bauer threads.

Still those are pretty nice numbers, especially for a guy who is just beginning to come into his own.

I was talking about that he is playing with DRob and Tim. DRob played with TD only a couple of years, and TD only played with DRob a couple of years and in comparison, TP has had it easier.
