    They are hedgehogs, not porcupines and they are actually pretty cute from most angles...

    That's just a bad picture of baby hedgehogs. (pretty early in life)

    They actually grow hair and look pretty adorable later.

    Hedgehogs have no actual spine spines. The spines are made out of hair that is tightly wrapped together, making them strong. When you hold them and they ball up, they go *HISS* sort of, and when they do it, they like puff up.
