Spurs forward Malik Rose is experiencing success in the restaurant business. Just over a year ago, Rose opened Malik's Philly's Phamous in the Alamo Quarry.
And within the next few months, he'll be opening a second location of the restaurant at 1604 and Bandera.
The menu, starring Malik and fellow Spurs favorites, features an array of the original style Philly Cheesesteak, plus a variety of other foods. For dessert, there is the "Iceman's" Italian Ice, a unique icy-treat available in 14 different flavors, or a "Tasty Kake," authentic bakery-fresh Philly pastries.
"It's going real well," said Rose.
"The new location should be open by February."

:p I think It's good... But then I think anything related to Malik Is good![]()
gotta break Aggie, Ducks, and other haters hearts.
Spurgal probably likes the 'footlong'...
why the first one got him in trade talks
this second one means he will be traded by feb...............................
Malik's restaurant is not that good.
opening resturants gets you traded
is rose married?
is he still going to have those cheap tvs in the new place to.?
what did you order there?
was it to much for what you got?
did they not have your favorite drink?
was it as good as rose plays?![]()
I hear Malik is going to be upgrading his menu.
Duck Pita
mb are you going to help rasho open a business so he gets traded?
When is he going to open on over here at I-10 in Houston.![]()
after he is traded
If they deal him the last thing I need to see is him in the Spurs' own division.
ship him to clippers for 2 young bigs
and change
and clippers have their vet they need
The Knicks and Celts aren't in our division.
Do they have chicken cheesesteak?
There you go again....
Yes, pointing out your ability to jump the proverbial gun.
No, displaying your inability to get anything.
Oh, I get plenty, 'cept your infatuation with me.
Back to the topic please.
You mean the topic of Malik's restaurant?
Sure.
It would be nice if Malik opened a restaurant in Houston where 2pac, who lists his team as the San Antonio Spurs, could have a sammich in his current town whilst cheering on the owner, who would still be playing for the Spurs since he made no intimation said owner would have to be traded to the Rockets in order for him to open a restaurant in Houston.
Again I ask you -- do they have chicken cheesesteaks?
