CiCi's pizza????
Please post ideas in this thread as to where to have the first playoff road game GTG.
It has to be a place that has big screens, food and drinks, and will reserve space for 30 people (more or less).
In the end, I know y'all end up at our house .. but this is my attempt to try to find an alternate place.
Thanks.

CiCi's pizza????
*Champs Sports Bar
What about the pizza place you all went to last year? I thought they were good people and gave good service.
Does anyone know anything about Firkin's? It just opened up at 1604/Blanco, but I haven't been inside and I don't know if they have big screens or not.
They are open?
I havent been down there, I might see if they are open when I go to lunch today.
There is always the club house over here at my place.
it has a kithcen & they are putting in an even bigger big screen later this week.
plenty of parking.
but its definatly BYOF, BYOB.
Goomba's will have extra seating as he bought the next door location, knocked down the wall. He is scheduled to have a big screen there.
Plus we are doing Spurs Warmup live from Goomba's with the Thompson Brothers.
Can't F$#@ with tradition can you?
Burns got a point!
any sort of idea when game 3 might be?
Yeah, but the question is will you reveal how much money you make off tradition?
I propose a GTG somewhere in the East Coast...![]()
Candidates:
1. Buffalo Wild Wings at the Spectrum
2. Fast Eddies Embassy Oaks
We would just do it at our house if it's not at a restaurant/bar, but thanks for the offer.
I'd consider it, but last year I had a big problem with the fact that we would reserve seats for SPURSTALK people and then they'd get taken over by WOAI radio people (with an at ude) and I couldn't do anything about it.
Dave and Busters. They have a party room with a big screen.
You have to pay for their party room.
don't forget, it may be at 9:30
Last year, I got there in the 2nd half and tried to sit at an empty table and the WOAI people told me they were holding it for someone that would probably be there later. No one ever came and I stood the rest of the game.
west avenue sports bar
I heard they wouldn't allow Johnny Blaze to tap into the Dr. Pepper because it was "reserved." They had a big post-it note and everything.
My friend owns Hotshot billiards next to the Alamo Draft House theatre, they have enough tables around 3 big screens to easily fit 30 people... I would just have to notify him in advance so he can reserve them.
I cant promise anything beyond the resrved spots and a pool table or 2 (for free) but I *might* be able to work out some kind of drink specials as well.
Do they serve food too? Can you ask him the maximum amount of people we could have?
If he can work out some good drink specials, I could probably work out some free advertising.
Can we just have it at your house so I can see your undergarmet collection?
