Don't get me wrong.
I've been a Spurs fan since 1973, when they moved here from Dallas.
I rode the bus at age 13 from the Methodist Hospital to the Hemisfair Arena to watch them (for $2 tickets) during their first season.
However...
I have to be honest here.
The Spurs are on a collision course with The Detroit Pistons.
And this year, Ben Wallace will have Home Court Advantage.
That means he will be wearing The 'Fro.![]()
Enough of the false bravado, Spurs Nation.
I Fear The 'Fro!

like i said before hca is over rated, spurs might be better off and more focused with the structure that they have now, we are the champs, i fear no one
In Tim We Trust!
Let's get past Sacramento first and foremost.
Lets just chill and watch round one no looking ahead.![]()
I miss the fro, Timmy needs to grow his again.
Forget the rest of the Playoffs! Start the finals now baby. It is so set! SPURS-PISTONS!
How will TNT and ESPN make their money back from buying the game rights?
Right on, Dawn.
I'm looking ahead to The Pistons!
I fear The 'Fro.
But I expect that The Spurs will ease my pain.
It would be beautiful to smite the evil Pistons and THE FRO in Detroit.
Collision Course: Spurs-Pistons on June 6th. Mark it on your calendar. These preliminary "playoff" games are for amateurs.
I fear no one, except Michael Jackson.
You're right. Milwaukee's a good team.
For me to poop on!
you say fear the fro KTSA boy?
I say the FRO!!!!!!
It Hard!!! Till It Turns White!
Pistons fan in disquise
Doubtful since the image is from Chris' site.
Spurs just have to do EXACTLY what they did last year: win three in SA and one in Detroit. Can they do it? Only time will tell. I don't fear the 'Fro, though. I fear the 'Sheed. His ability to effectively defend Duncan one on one limits our offensive options. Spurs will have to penetrate, although not necessarily all the way to the rim. Their in-between game must be clicking. Open perimeter shots will be at a premium, and I don't expect the Spurs to shoot at 38% from downtown like they did during the season. I'll settle for 34-35%, as long as they're timely.
i picked the pistons to win it all in six...but not against the spurs!!!
June 6th? Hopefully I'll get a good birthday present and the Pistons will lose.
I'd love to see tim duncan in a fro. the hair might give the false impression that he experiances emotions.
It's going to be A WAR.
And if The Spurs can prevail in Game 6 or 7 in Detroit, they will prove once and for all they are the Back-To-Back Team of The Decade!
just out of curiosity, this is NOT a prediction, but how do you think you'd react if they met in the finals and it ended up like the last two times they played.
