Yeah, Mourning was on some pissy revenge campaign because Shaq got all of the press and was #1. David reminded him what time it was.
in 1990 versus the Hornets. I am not sure if it was exactly 53 but the game was on TV and that was the day I became a Spurs fan and a DRob fanatic. I was 6 at the time and now I'm looking for the box score or some information from the game.
I have a small book from 93-94 that highlights his accomplishments to that point and it talks about that game but I'm trying to find it online somewhere.
Any ideas?

Then I am wayyyy off.
It wasn't the weed that knocked my memory in my teenage years, or was it!?
Anyways I must be thinking of a different game. I saw a Hornets/Spurs game on TV in 90' and I guess I don't remember what DRob got, but that game hooked me for life.
Maybe it was this one:

edit.
That might be it.. my mom said I threw fits as she tried to make me goto bed during an NBA game.
Not 100% though. I was born 11-3-84 and remembered I was 6, but could have been 5..
It might've been the orlando game that year. DROB had 43 pts, 12 RBDs and 10 blks that game. Here's the link:

I think it was... that looks very familiar.
That's a terrific memory for you, my friend, thanks for sharing that with us.![]()
I one of those people that remember everything... except for you know, when I was really young like 5-6, I can remember watching the game just not the specifics.
And thanks.
