This is for the Tparks and zocools of the world mostly.
I hope you guys are paying attention to how our offense is getting shots at ease running flex sets.
This is why I about Pop when we go to 4down and the pick and role exclusively at the offensive end.
We are much more dangerous playing a European flex style offense, as the first quarter today has shown.
i cant see teh game.

That's okay Tpark. Now maybe some folks will join me in the Church of Motion.
I'm all for diversity in the offense. I'm also in favor of our opponents' refsuing to play D.
Whatever works.
I was always with you.
I just disagree that 4 down should be totally done away with.
4 down is quite effective, but not excessively I agree.
Its kind of like, screw it.
Use it once in a while, not 50 times straight down the court.
The flex motion offense, when run by this team, is UNBEATABLE.
I hope they dont come out of the half on their high horse, because theyve made some 3s.
They need to continue being agressive and CUTTING to the basket.
T Park, you should stop watching Spurs games until they lose.
This might be a new good luck charm, the Spurs are off to the best start/half that I can remeber.
...just a thought
Good defenses totally rape our Motion Offense though.
But I like the Motion O.
I have no problem with the 4down set by itself. I have a problem when we use it exclusively for an entire (fourth) quarter of basketball without anything else mixed in other than a token pick and roll every 6-7 trips down the court.
Name one. And don't say Detroit, because we run pick and roll and iso against them entirely too much of the time.Good defenses totally rape our Motion Offense though.
yeah, that strategy is so ancient
I didn't see too much Flex today. Motion, yes.
Very aggressive, pushing the tempo and dribble penetration off screen/rolls hitting the open men was awesome, also.
Well I saw a couple of flex cuts early that we scored on, so I went with that![]()
Your basic premise was true. The Spurs play so much better when they move, cut, pass and hit the open shots.
I thought the Spurs also played the high screen/rolls very well early on and they rotated really well.
Good overall offense. Particularly enjoyed the bevy of players in double digits.
It really helps when the team your playing against forgot the meaning of help defense...or defense at all.
Motion offense sucks...ask any Michigan basketball fan...errr wait, I guess it just sucks when you have ty talent. My bad fellas...continue
