Dude, you beat em by like 40 points. Darko would have scored like 15 in that situation...(15 points over the course of the entire year of 40 point blowouts.)
He totally disappeared today.![]()
10 pts, 7 rebs, in 20 minutes.

Finley would start for 90% of the nba
Yes he would. Same for McDyess.
Damn McDyess was ing awesome in Denver.
What does he have to do with Michael Finley.Yes he would. Same for McDyess
Good first game for fin.
Solid, nothing big, nothing small, made some shots, rebounded well.
Hope he brings that sweet jumper again tuesday.
Multiple days off no question benefits his jumper.
Those nellielegs get some good rest.
finley has always been a good playoffs guy
IIRC, Michael had a huge Game6 vs Suns last playoffs to win it,
then totally disappeared in Game7 to be eliminated.
i wasn't aware there was only ONE starter per team, last time i checked there were 5 per team
good old boutons.....
At this point (I know, only one game) it appears that Finley has grown into his role off the bench. Early in the season, he would clobber the rim with bricks on a regular basis, but lately, he has been consistent and dependable. Sure, he will have bad games, but if he can provide this kind of performance (and hopefully a few amazing ones) on a regular basis, the Spurs should do really well. , if van Exel and Barry keep on shooting like this, I might not get an ulcer or hemroids this year!
HaHa!! I thought the same thing when I first read that guy's post. Word for word. It's ok... just put dyess on tony and see how long it takes for his ankles to snap like breadsticks.
My guess is that Michael's dropoff in career stats in playoffs vs season was capped by his no show in Game7 vs Suns when just a few more points from Michael (instead of only 7 in regulation + OT) could have won the game to send Mavs to WCFs was some part of Cuban's thinking in releasing Michael under amnesty.
In fact, in the last 4 games vs Suns, Michael was essentially unproductive as a scorer, which is all he is. If Michael had scored his avg 15 pts in that series, the outcome could have been different. I'm sure his playoff underperforming vs Suns was not missed by Cuban.

Those are the facts, not my opinion.
I, of course, want Michael to redeem himself as a Spurs playoff contributor, starting with his excellent contribution last night. He has certainly been doing great since mid-season.
maybe cause most of these are all marquee players

Well he sucked in Dallas. There is less pressure on him San Antonio so I guess he is thriving in his new role.
Would you all get off his performance against PHX for crying out loud?
He's playing here off the bench for peanuts and has been doing fine.
You guys would've run Horry out of town after the last Laker series, wouldn't you?
WHAT! He didnt suck in dallas man. All those years he kept the team close to or in the playoffs. It was the owners that didn't help him. When Nowitski (however you spell it) went down Finley picked it up to beat us the next game (in 2003). After Mark Cuban came in then Finley had help but he was gettin older, you know.
