The Spurs will not have many more 30+ wins but several more 20+ on their way to 4th le = it is written!
Nice! Thanks for the link.
I suppose every good sports board has a completely over the top homer....
To clarify that doesn't meant that I don't think the Spurs can win it all, they can and I hope they do, but it is far from "written".
Read the article it does give other teams a chance (if they are the Pistons basically), in reality no one else can beat a Spurs team that is healthy and the Spurs are deeper and better 1-12 than the Pistons IMO.
hmm, didn't you post this already? dude, dial the homerism down, it was only one game.
It all depends on whether the Spurs can maintain anywhere near the focus and intensity we saw in Game1. If they do, Spurs repeat.
Spurs have as good a chance or better at winning the NBA le, and should be considered one of the heavy favorites. But, a guaranteed le based on Western Conference homecourt and now a blowout win in game 1 of the playoffs?
There is a chance that the Spurs don't even make it to the Finals. There's a chance Detroit does not make it to the Finals. What then?
Hoopsworld is an absolute joke. Nothing like a bunch of homers writing about their own teams. And don't get me started about all of the "rumors" they pull out of their ass in the offseason.
Am I having deja vu? I swear, this article was posted before the Playoffs even started (minus the Kings references, of course).
You sir are correct. Posted before, and it's wide right...NO GOOD!
Every single time Borosai posts, I start laughing. Now, cut that out!

I can't believe that anyone truly thinks this series is over; blowout wins for one team are often followed by close wins for the other team in a playoff series (see Games 4 and 5 of the 2005 NBA Finals).
To think that the Spurs are just going to roll through Sacramento strikes me as a very short-sighted and homeristic view of things.
To think that there are no teams in the league, other than Detroit, who can compete with the Spurs is patently ridiculous.
I tell you what...regulation season aside...they looked as good (or better in most aspects) last night as they did in any playoffs game last year. I hope they continue to play the way they did yesterday. However, we all know, from long-suffering experience...that the score could be reversed in the next game.![]()
Keep in mind that Rummpd himself is the author of that article.
How many times can the Spurs win the le in a season? Right now I think there's a 40-50 way tie for first with one le in a season, so if they can win it two or three times I think they'd really cement their place in history.
P.S.-This gem makes post number 2,000!
