Wait, what is number 8 doing in the playoffs? 22.7 points is what he is averaging, the lotto team you claim is taking over and stepping up in the playoffs, not el ocho. Sure lookslike MVP to me.....
Kobe might not be averaging a ton of points but his team is doing pretty well.
Not that I think he deserved MVP -- I don't -- but to knock his playoff performance so far doesn't really prove anything.

Nash won MVP for what he did last season. It's just a popularity contest anyways,but like Jason Terry said, "Awards are given out in the regular season, but legends are made in the postseason."
MVP is not given for post season play. You are basing it on Dirk's recent play. I've been saying this over and over again.

2. AVGs 35+ pts a game
3. Has the worst supporting class of any other mvp candidate.
4. Kobe out of fakers = won't even compete in college
5. MVP means most valuable player not who makes his team better and all that other hoopla garbage. Kobe is most valuable to his team than any other player.
Nash wins it and kobe probably had is only chance of getting the award.

I would rather get a le than an MVP award to be honest (there's always the Finals MVP anyway). Look at Nash: back-to-back MVPs and he has yet to win a series against a legit playoff team (stick a fork on the Lakers game) and I don't think they ever would with that run-and-gun bull .
