only beacuse he averaged 17 points 8 rebounds 3 assist 2 steals and 3 blocks per game and could pop the occasional three.
well...it was just a matter of time till the crazy undoable trades started hitting the forum...
This is a GOOD Spurs team and for the first time in seemingly forever they are returning a starting 5 that have all played together the year before...
this trade makes no sense for either team...throw two new players into the mix right before the season starts...
Parker is > than Arroyo and has three years experience learning the Spurs system...
AK47 is > than Rose but is not a bench player and will probably end up getting close to max...and the Bowen/Duncan combination at forward works pretty well already...
I just don't see either team considering this trade...

the reason i thought of this was from listening to pop, parker and kirilenko talk about their extensions. nobodys happy and pop sounds a little like he doesnt care too much. and AK is already a defensive minded player i dont think take too long to get the system in SA. and bowen only keeps getting older. AK is 10 years younger, i wouldnt mind bringing bowen off the bench for him.
pop does not want to have media ask him everyday
and he does not want tp's contract to be a distaction
trading for kirlenko without him signing an extenstion could cause the same problem
and we do not even know if he would be a good fit in spurs system
tp and manu for yao and mcgrady
I don't think any trades need to occur. TP will either get his contract or he won't but he won't be traded. The Spurs roster looks very solid and I would not mess with it.

why would jazz want malik as they already signed big deals with okur and boozer.
Malik is the wrong skin color for Utah.
